Hi, I'm Davidson

I am a corporate lawyer, financier and investor. Besides that, I am an entrepreneur, an author, a management consultant, speaker, and mentor. Presently, I am the Managing Partner at Nubia Capital, a US based Venture Capital Firm focused on funding and investing in tech-enabled startups in Africa.

I was previously a partner at AELEX, a top-tier law firm in Nigeria and Ghana, where I headed the firm’s Startups, Innovation and Technology Practice and had the privilege of leading the team that drafted the Nigeria Startup Act.

Most of my background has been in law and business. I had obtained from 1st degree in Law and got an LL.M in International Business Law. I subsequently did an MBA with specialisations in Entrepreneurship and Corporate Finance.

The Davidson Oturu Mentorship Programme

A couple of months ago, I gave a TEDx talk on how small ideas can make big impact. Funny enough, I never gave the TEDx talk much attention as I was perspiring (the room was hot!) and also considered the topic a simple one.

However, the feedback I have received from folks who found the talk from a small corner where it was posted made me decide that perhaps, it could be beneficial for folks who seemingly have small ideas but despise them on the premise that they need something phenomenal in order to make impact.

Please enjoy the video and who knows, your idea may just be the next best thing after sliced bread!
