I was previously a partner at AELEX, a top-tier law firm in Nigeria and Ghana, where I headed the firm’s Startups, Innovation and Technology Practice and had the privilege of leading the team that drafted the Nigeria Startup Act.

Most of my background has been in law and business. I had obtained from 1st degree in Law and got an LL.M in International Business Law. I subsequently did an MBA with specialisations in Entrepreneurship and Corporate Finance.

A fun fact about me? I once considered having a career as a gospel singer.

When I'm not advising, speaking, writing or investing in startups, I'm volunteering in my church choir, serving as an angel investor, mentoring entrepreneurs and helping young professionals desirous of enhancing their business, financial and personal skills.

In my spare time, I enjoy swimming, reading, writing, working out, playing chess, singing and spending time with my family.
